National Geographic this month reported that they compost the waste from their corporate cafe. How does anybody feel about that? Seems like it could come with its own issues, but may provide significant benefits. Do you find this valuable?

That's a really interesting concept! I would be willing to bet we could compost our coffee grounds. I wonder what other kinds of biodegradable waste our cafe produces.

We have a wide variety of things for sale, but they tend to be "packaged" food- meaning, bags of chips and candy bars as opposed to any real sandwich like material. There are cafés other places around campus that could possibly make more use of composting that we can.
